📝The God They Never Knew The Tragedy of Religion Without Relationship Revised Edition Book Synopsis : The God They Never Knew is about knowing God and having a relationship with him. From chapter one: "Who are the deceivers and why are they deceivers? The deceivers are a coalition of the religiously affiliated who know quite a lot about God but fail to relate to Him on a personal basis. They include faithful churchmen, Bible school and seminary graduates, fundamentalists and evangelicals. They are the people who are incredibly active doing good works under the banner of Jesus Christ, but who have never slowed down enough to get to know the One they think they are serving. Carnal theological professors, whose hearts may mutter in secret, "God has a wonderful plan for my life," have failed to realize that Christianity, in its naked essence, is nothing less than a relationship. Whatever else may issue forth from the Christian life must be rooted in that sublime relationship-God with the soul."

📒I Never Knew The Man ✍ Andrea Lorenzo Molinari
📝I Never Knew the Man Book Synopsis : The Act of Peter, Papyrus Berolinensis 8502.4 was discovered in Egypt some years before the end of the 19th century and subsequently published in 1903 by Carl Schmidt. Since Schmidt's study, much of the overall debate has centered on this text's relationship with the apocryphal Acts of Peter (preserved in the Latin manuscript, Actus Vercellenses). Schmidt viewed the Act of Peter as part of the long-lost first third of the Acts of Peter, a position which has since attained general acceptance. Molinari contends that scholars have been hasty in their acceptance of Schmidt's position, which under scrutiny reveals itself to be built on assumptions that are tenuous at best. Molinari makes his argument in two parts. The first part refutes Schmidt's theory that the Act of Peter was originally part of the Acts of Peter. The second part discusses the issue of genre and origins.
📒The Anti Gospel ✍ Edward Hendrie
📝The Anti Gospel Book Synopsis : Most people who attend their church services each week are not hearing the gospel. They are hearing an anti-gospel. The devil is a very subtle liar who opposes God and his gospel. See Genesis 3:1; John 8:44. That old serpent has stealthily introduced his deceptive anti-gospel into the pulpits of churches around the world. He has very craftily mixed the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees into the gospel and ruined the whole loaf. Matthew 16:6-12. The resulting false gospel is premised on the idea that all men are freed from the bondage to sin and therefore have the ability to choose of their own free will whether or not to believe in Jesus. This is not a dispute over a fine distinction that is only of interest to theologians. This issue goes to the heart of the gospel. It goes to the heart of salvation. It goes to the heart of who is Jesus. The bible states that man is spiritually dead and must be born again by the power of God. Ephesians 2:1-6; John 3:3-8. God has elected certain to be saved by his grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:3-9; 2:8-10. He imbues his elect with the faith needed to believe in Jesus. Romans 3:21-26; John 1:12-13. The devil’s false gospel reverses the order of things. Under the false gospel preached in most churches, Jesus does not choose his elect for salvation, instead all men have a free will to choose Jesus. Instead of God choosing man, man chooses God. This mythology is not supported by the bible. It is at the heart of a devilish conspiracy against God and man. The free will anti-gospel denies the sovereignty of God and blasphemously makes God out to be a liar. The free will gospel is a heathen gospel that has a god, but that god is not the God of the bible. The calling of the true Jesus is effectual; all who are chosen for salvation will believe in him. John 6:37-40. The free will gospel has a false Jesus who only offers the possibility of salvation, with no assurance. The scriptures warn about such a false Jesus. 2 Corinthians 11:4. The free will gospel denies the total depravity of man and the sovereign election of God. The true gospel has a Jesus who loves only his children and saves them for eternity in heaven. The devilish anti-gospel has a false Jesus who loves everyone in the world, but this false Jesus casts most of those whom he loves in hell, suffering in torments for eternity in a lake of fire. The true Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 7 that he never loved those who are sent to hell. “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:23. See also Romans 9:21-23. The true God of the bible saves those whom he has elected for salvation and he condemns those whom he has elected for condemnation. See Romans 9. The false Jesus of the anti-gospel looks on helplessly while the sinner who is spiritually dead in trespasses and sin decides whether to believe in him. The true Jesus preordained and chose his elect to believe in him before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4-5. The false Jesus is an impotent Jesus, who must yield to the desires of men; if men decide after they are saved that they would rather reject Jesus and take their chances with being thrown into hell, they can forfeit their salvation. The false Jesus is powerless to stop them. The true Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings, who is able to preserve his elect and will lose none of those whom he has chosen for salvation. John 10:27-29.
📒The Jesus You Never Knew ✍ Dr. Henry DePetro
📝The Jesus You Never Knew Book Synopsis : In the hearts of all mankind, of whatever race or station in life, there -. are inexpressible longings for something they do not now possess. This longing is implanted in the very constitution of man by a merciful God, that man may not be satisfied with his present conditions or attainments, whether bad, or good, or better. God desires that the human shallseek the best, and find it to the eternal blessing of his soul. Satan, by wily scheme and craft, has perverted these longings of the human heart. He makes men believe that this desire may be satisfied by pleasure, by wealth, by-ease, by fame, by power; but those who have been thus deceived by him (and they number myriads) find all these things pall upon the sense, leaving the soul as barren and unsatisfied as before. It is God's design that this longing of the human heart should lead to the One, who alone is able to satisfy it. The desire is of Him that it may lead to Him, the fullness and fulfillment of that desire. That fullness is found in Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Eternal God. "Forit was the good pleasure of the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell;" "for in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." And it is also true that "in Him ye are made full" with respect to every desire divinely implanted and normally followed. Haggai calls Him "the Desire of all nations," and we may well call Him "the Desire of all ages," even as He is "the King of ages." It is the purpose of this book to set forth Jesus Christ as the One in whom every longing may be satisfied. There is many a "Life of Christ" written, excellent, books, large funds of information, elaborate 'essays on chronology and contemporaneous history, customs, and events, with much of the teaching and many glimpses of the many-sided life of Jesus of Nazareth. Yet it may be truly.said, "The half has never been told." It is not, however, the purpose of this work to set forth a harmony of the Gospels, or even to give in stricdy chronological order the important events and wonderful Iessons of the life of Christ; its purpose is to present the love of God as revealed in His Son, the divine beauty of life of Christ, of which a1l may partake, and not to satisfy the desires of the .merely curious nor the questionings of critics. But even as . the attraetl.on of His own goodness of character Jesus drew His disciples unto himself, and his personal presence by His sympathetic touch and feeling in all their infirmities and needs, and by his constantassocaition, transformed their characters from the erathly to the heavenly, from the selfish to the sacrificing, from the small hearted ignorance and prejudice to largehearted knowledge and profound love for soulsof all nations and races, even so it is the purpose of this book so to presentthe blessed Redeemer as to helpthe readerto come to Him face to face, herat to heart, and find in Him even as did the diciples of old, Jesus the Mighty One, who saves "ot the uttermost," and transforms to HIs own divine image all of those who come unto God by Him. Yet how impossibleit is to revealHis life! It is like attemptingto putupos canvas the livingrainbow; into charaters of black and white the sweetest music.

📒The God Of Elijah ✍ Cheryl Simone
📝The God of Elijah Book Synopsis : Watching my sister slip away into an eternal place and hearing the gratification in her voice as she transformed to the other side is what gives me peace. We walked together in that tunnel. I can’t help but wonder what if I would have remained there too. Would I have experienced the same overwhelming joy my sister felt, instead of letting the paralyzing fear take over me causing me to be left behind? What I experienced would make any individual wish that they were dead. Still I continue to hear how blessed I am to be alive. If I knew what I would be faced with when I awakened, I wonder if I would have rather remained asleep... I stopped trying to figure out why I survived and have learned to embrace the encounter I had with The God of Elijah. If you have picked up this book, The God of Elijah desires to have an encounter with you. Jesus said that no man comes to Him, except God draws them. So relax, quiet your soul, and come with me on my journey, as I reveal what happens when the miraculous shows up. Death stared me in the face; hell was hard on my heels. Up against it, I didn't know which way to turn; then I called out to GOD for help: "Please, GOD!" I cried out. "Save my life!" GOD is gracious it is he who makes things right, our most compassionate God. GOD takes the side of the helpless; when I was at the end of my rope, he saved me. I said to myself, "Relax and rest. GOD has showered you with blessings. Soul, you've been rescued from death; Eye, you've been rescued from tears; and you, Foot, were kept from stumbling." (MSG) Psalm 116: 3-8

📒The God Within ✍ Elwood Babbitt
📝The God Within Book Synopsis : A Handbook for Spiritual Growth In 1970 Charles Hapgood asked Elwood Babbitt, a full trance medium, to contact the Hindu deity, Vishnu. At that time he believed that Vishnu was one of the Hindu Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Siva, which corresponded in ancient philosophy to the earth's seasons of Spring, Summer and Fall. When this request was made of Elwood Babbitt's chief assistant in spirit, Dr. Frederick Fischer, Fischer said Hapgood was asking for the All-In-All. Hapgood found, on investigation, that the highest thought of India was indeed monotheistic, that Vishnu was accepted as the One, the Universal Spirit, of which Brahma and Siva were aspects. Fischer said that bringing in the total Force of the universe to express through the body of a medium had never been done before, but he thought it could be done, and he accomplished it, but not without mortal danger to the medium. Exposed to too great an energy Babbitt became very ill and for several weeks it seemed he was unlikely to survive. Fischer, however, managed to moderate the vibrational force so that the transmissions could continue. Hapgood interrogated Vishnu, attempting to cover as wide an area as possible to answer questions in the minds of people. Tape recordings were made and these will be available to the public in due course. After the recordings were transcribed Hapgood edited the texts to clarify any expressions that were confused owing to minor distortions of language because of distortions of the vibrations coming through Babbitt's brain. The result is a comprehensive and clear work, avoiding technicalities of philosophy or dogma, and concentrating on the problem of assisting all those who wish to devote themselves to the path of spiritual growth.
