You are living and working in the United States, or perhaps you are living and working in your home country using English on a daily basis for business. You have basic English language fluency. I admire you because it has been a dream of mine to be able to speak another language--any language--as well as you speak English. But darn it! Don't you get a little tired of those funny looks? Doesn't it get annoying to hear, "Could you repeat that please?" The purpose of this workbook and accompanying CDs, is to help you realize why you get those occasional reactions from your listeners, and to take the good English you already have and polish it enough to keep those questions to a bare minimum. And while we're at it, I'd like for you to have some fun!

📒Mr South Burned His Mouth ✍ Gentry Nyland
📝Mr South Burned His Mouth Book Synopsis :
📒Everything Your Eyes See Your Mouth Say You Want It ✍ Dr. Marvin A. Pryor
📝Everything Your Eyes See Your Mouth Say You Want It Book Synopsis : Everyone has a story; unfortunately, many of these stories go untold. In most families, there are secrets, rituals, or events that you are simply forbidden to talk about or acknowledge that the event ever happened. These secrets are most often damaging to the family name or simply shameful to the person who holds the key to unleashing the story. Therefore, individuals opt to withhold the story, live a life of turmoil, and take it to the grave—all of this in the name of love and hate toward the individual and the family. The sad commentary regarding this decision is that it creates a cycle of practice for the wrongdoer. This is the essence of my story; it is my hope that my story will serve as a gateway to others to release the chains of past events that have held them captive and negated them from living a full and productive life without turmoil. Realize that the tragedy from your humble beginnings does not have to be a predictor of your final outcome. This is not a recommendation to cast shame upon anyone; it is simply a charge to those of you who have found yourself in this situation to realize that you cannot live a life trying to fill a hole that you did not dig. Your hole will be filled before you are able to fill theirs. ?Proclamation—announce it ... ?Emancipation—release it ... ?Anticipation—begin to live your life ... ?Resolve—be free ...

📒Just Shut Your Mouth Do What You Re Told ✍ Debra Haraldson
📝Just Shut Your Mouth Do What You re Told Book Synopsis : It was 1973 when, as a very poor (grade-wise) junior in high school, I decided to join the Army once I graduated from high school. Living in a very small southern Minnesota farming community, my options were limited and I, having spent the best part of my high school days having fun and ignoring my grades, would not be accepted in any respectable college or university. While thumbing through the current issue of Cosmopolitan, a card fell out, urging me to send in for more information on the Armed Services. My initial service of choice was the Air Force but they wanted a minimum commitment of four years. Since the Army only wanted three, I chose it instead. I signed up for the Delayed Entry Program – joining before my high school graduation, after which time I would go on active duty. Joining early guaranteed my promotion from E-1 to E-2 once I survived Basic Training. Eleven days after graduation, I was on an airplane to Columbia, South Carolina’s Fort Jackson. It was early June and extremely hot. I was all by myself – unless you count the other hundreds of women who were also beginning their Army careers. It was scary but I took comfort in the fact that we were all in the same boat. This book describes my experiences in Basic Training, my computer training, and my two and a half years in The Pentagon as a Computer Console Operator. Back in 1974, women in Basic Training trained with other women – no men allowed, however, some of the Drill Instructors were male. We were still considered members of the Women’s Army Corps, commonly called WACS – we were not fully integrated in the “regular” Army until 1976 or so. But we trained wearing fatigues, boots, wool socks, hauling field packs and canteens – just like the men. I was and still am, opinionated, mouthy and contrary to authority. How in the world did I survive three years in the Army? I stood steadfast to my motto: Just Shut Your Mouth and Do What You’re Told.
